Dos Equis Ambar is a rich, amber-red colour with a robust flavour, offering the smooth drinkability of a classic Vienna-style lager.

Amber in colour and hence its name, Dos Equis Ambar is one of Mexico’s more complex beers. A heady mix of hazelnut brittle, Mexican orchid and espresso coffee beans, blending full bodied autumnal notes with sparkling sunshine refreshment. Born in 1897 in Veracruz, Mexico, Dos Equis translates as ‘two X’s’ in Spanish celebrating the arrival of the 20th Century. The Dos Equis image is completed bythe face between the letters which belongs to Moctezuma, the 16th century Aztec ruler who was conquered by Hernan Cortes. The Dos Equis tradition is continued with the addition to the portfolio of Dos Equis Lager.
