Zatec

Žatec is the finest of Czech lagers which has uniquely retained its traditional brewing processes for over 1,000 years Žatec (pronounced ‘jha-tets’) is brewed using traditional methods and the finest natural ingredients. Situated in the Czech hop fields, Žatec is a 4.6% Czech lager, brewed using the finest Saaz hops, Moravian malt and locally sourced water. After fermenting in traditional open vats, it is lagered for 45 days in horizontal tanks 80 feet below ground, allowing some of the malt sugars to remain, creating a fuller, more complex palate.

Serving Ritual
Žatec should always be served in a branded stemmed glass. The lager should be poured into the glass in front of the consumer, allowing a white head to form.
